A Pioneer of Professionalism
Gean Roofing is the leading roofing company for Northern Indiana and Southern Michigan. We started the original “Lifetime Warranty” in the roofing industry more than two and a half decades ago, and we’re still providing our customers with the same great satisfaction and excellent workmanship. Our longevity speaks for itself.
By working with us, you’ll see increased value, reduced risk, and an end result that is as aesthetically pleasing as it is functional. We offer full 17-point roof inspections — including attics — and offer solutions and options for the homeowner to decide on. We’ll help you identify potential problems, consider possible repairs and upgrades, and experience confidence and peace of mind regarding your roof.
What are we not?
- We’re not a “one-size-fits-all” contractor
- We’re not a part-time contractor
- We’re not the cheapest
But as we’ve said, you should never settle for the cheapest roofing contractor — your roof is an investment, and when it needs to be repaired or replaced, you should be sure that you only have to do it once. Working with part-time contractors who simply offer the lowest price isn’t just risky: it can also be dangerous to the well-being of your home. Our professionals are some of the best in the business and take great pride in what they do, so we’ll never leave any part of your roof untouched. And when we’re done, you won’t have to have us re-do any part of our work: not only have we never failed to fix a roof leak, but our Lifetime Warranty guarantees that you’ll be satisfied.

Excellent Credit Rating for Contractors
Why is it important to hire a contractor with an excellent credit rating?
It means that he understands business, to include overhead expenses, and charges enough to earn a profit. All things that need to be important to a consumer hiring a contractor.
The contractor with poor credit has to rely on many other resources. These can be: a line of credit from a bank; an additional, perhaps extended, line of credit from a supplier; and deposits paid on future work (confirm the legal limit and expectations for a deposit in your community). These items can affect your receiving the best job possible. Unpaid suppliers of the roofing materials can and will put a lien, known as a “mechanic’s lien,” on your home to recover their money.
Gean Roofing always operates with an excellent credit rating, has never used a line of credit and does not use any deposits to pay for past work.
Our suppliers and vendors LOVE working with us because they know that they will be paid on time. That means that we often get better service from them.
Some contractors may purchase more supplies than we do, but our suppliers have told us that they prefer working with us because they never have to “chase down the money or put liens on jobsites”.
It’s something to think about when considering that super low bid.
